Softball Recap: Park View Comes Up Short

Park View was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 24-8 to the Justice Wolves. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Patriots of the 20-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2023.

Ashley Orellana Sanchez stepped up to lead a balanced group of hitters: she went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI.

Park View's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Justice, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Park View will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Freedom at 6:00 p.m. on May 6. As for Justice, they will square off against Hayfield at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Hawks will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Wolves surely won't give up without a fight.
