Basketball Recap: Bedford Takes a Loss

Bedford has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They lost to the Salem Blue Devils on the road by a 62-45 margin on Monday. The Bulldogs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Blue Devils apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

Bedford's defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 13-1 and their overall record down to 16-2. As for Salem, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-5.

While Bedford had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
