Meanwhile, West Elk suffered their biggest loss since January 23rd on Tuesday. They took a blow against Neodesha, falling 48-19. The Patriots haven't had much luck with the Blue Streaks recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.

Fredonia's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for West Elk, their loss dropped their record down to 2-2.

Fredonia came out on top in a nail-biter against West Elk in their previous meeting back in December of 2023, sneaking past 40-37. The rematch might be a little tougher for Fredonia since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
