Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Rockvale). They put the hurt on the St. George's Gryphons with a sharp 5-1 victory on Thursday. Given Rockvale's advantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee soccer rankings (they are ranked 19th, while St. George's is ranked 110th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Rockvale hit St. George's with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Rafael Albuquerque (2), Larry Ochoa, Gael Marasco, and August Bartsch.

Rockvale pushed their record up to 6-2-1 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 11 goals over those four games. As for St. George's, they now have a losing record of 3-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Rockvale will head out to take on Westmoore at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for St. George's, they will venture away from home to face off against First Assembly Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
