Preview: Mercer County Titans vs. Casey County Rebels        
        
		
            
 Mercer County is 6-1 against Casey County since February of 2015, and they'll have a chance to extend that success  on Tuesday. The Mercer County Titans will play host again and welcome the Casey County Rebels, where tip off is scheduled for 7:30  p.m. Casey County took a loss in their last  contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Mercer County, who comes in off a win.
 Mercer County put the finishing touches on their tenth blowout victory of the season  on Saturday. They claimed a resounding  65-30 win over Western Hills at home. The  match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached  39-15.
  Ak Drakeford continued  her habit of posting crazy stat lines,  dropping  a double-double on 23 points and 13  rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which  she has scored at least a third of Mercer County's points. The team also got some help courtesy of  Izzie Carlton, who  dropped  a double-double on 11 points and 17  rebounds.
 Meanwhile, Casey County came up short against Cumberland County on Saturday and fell  40-31. While losing is never fun, Casey County can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage  in MaxPreps' Kentucky basketball rankings  (they are ranked 201st, while Cumberland County is ranked 76th).
 Mercer County's victory bumped their record up to 15-10. As for Casey County, they have  been struggling recently as they've  lost 14 of their last 15 matchups,  which put a noticeable dent in their 4-16 record  this season.
 Mercer County took their  victory against Casey County  in their previous meeting  back in February of 2021 by a conclusive  70-47. Does  Mercer County have another victory up their sleeve, or will Casey County turn the tables on them?  We'll have the answer soon enough.
