Brendan Boynton put up the most strikeouts he's had since back in April on Wednesday. He didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out eight over five innings pitched. Considering he played a big game the last time he faced off against Ben Davis back in May of 2024, the result shouldn't come as too huge a shock. Boynton has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in four consecutive appearances.
