South Stanly managed to keep up with Albemarle until halftime on Wednesday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Rowdy Rebel Bulls came up short against the Bulldogs, falling 6-1. South Stanly have struggled against Albemarle recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

South Stanly's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Albemarle, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 8-7.
