Basketball Recap: Bellows Falls Find Success

Bellows Falls lost to Brattleboro back in February of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Tuesday. The Bellows Falls Terriers walked away with a 65-58 victory over the Brattleboro Bears.

Brattleboro's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Oscar Korson, who posted 23 points and three blocks, and John Satterfield, who went 7 of 16 to rack up 17 points and four steals. The dominant performance gave Korson a new career-high in blocks. Jack Cady was another key player, putting up six points in addition to 11 rebounds and three steals.

Bellows Falls' win bumped their record up to 10-7. As for Brattleboro, their loss dropped their record down to 5-11.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bellows Falls will challenge Hartford at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Brattleboro, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Mount Anthony at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Brattleboro is facing Mount Anthony at the right time seeing as Mount Anthony is stuck on a seven-game losing streak.
