Softball Recap: Fremont Falls Short of Bingham in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Fremont can now relate to. They lost 10-2 to the Bingham Miners on Thursday. The Silverwolves have struggled against the Miners recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost meeting.

Savannah Palmatier was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base.

Fremont's defeat dropped their record down to 11-15. As for Bingham, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 18-8-2.

While Fremont had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 1:00 p.m. on Friday.
