Basketball Recap: Bloom-Carroll Comes Up Short

Bloom-Carroll lost against Bishop Ready back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Bloom-Carroll Bulldogs received a blow as they fell 58-40 to the Bishop Ready Silver Knights. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 308th, while the Silver Knights are ranked 22nd).

Bloom-Carroll's defeat dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Bishop Ready, the win keeps them at an undefeated 12-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bloom-Carroll will take on Amanda-Clearcreek at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Bloom-Carroll is facing Amanda-Clearcreek at the right time seeing as Amanda-Clearcreek is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Bishop Ready, they will square off against Columbus Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday.
