Recap: Roosevelt Roughriders vs. Garfield Bulldogs
The Roosevelt Roughriders lost against the Garfield Bulldogs back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Roosevelt suffered a rough 72-51 defeat at the hands of Garfield. Roosevelt has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Several Roughriders players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Emma Curtis, who scored 12 points. Giselle Dollar was another key contributor, scoring 7 points along with 3 steals.
Roosevelt's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Garfield, their win bumped their record up to 1-0.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Seattle Prep the next time they take the court. Roosevelt will host Seattle Prep at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, while Garfield will head out to face them at 5:30 p.m. on December 15th.
