Softball Recap: Naaman Forest Comes Up Short

Naaman Forest was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a 7-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Arlington Colts.

Naaman Forest saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Maya Rhodes, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 1-for-2. Rhodes is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now stole at least one in each of the last four games she's played. Arianna Meza also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.

Naaman Forest's loss dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Arlington, they now have a winning record of 5-4.

Looking ahead, Naaman Forest will be taking part in a tournament against Mesquite at 3:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Arlington, they will take on Cooper in a tournament on Thursday.
