Ryan had lost three straight headed into Tuesday's match, but Abigail Vasquez didn't let it get to four. The Raiders blew past the Richland Royals 3-0 on Tuesday with plenty of help from Vasquez, who had 22 digs and one assist. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 11 or more in each of the last nine games she's played.

Ryan never let Richland on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-16, 25-23.

Ryan now has a winning record of 15-14. As for Richland, they have been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 12 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-16 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Ryan will face off against rival Grapevine at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Richland is set to take on their familiar foe Birdville at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
