Baseball Game Preview: Constitution Generals vs. Saul Razorbacks

The Constitution Generals will take on the Saul Razorbacks at 3:15 p.m. on Friday. Constitution is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 12.2 runs per game this season.

Constitution's pitching crew heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 14-0 margin over Tacony Academy Charter. The Generals haven't had any issues with the Lions recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Constitution let Emil Nissley and Eric Amabile run wild. Nissley went a perfect 3-for-3 with four stolen bases, two runs, and one triple, while Amabile got on base in all four of his plate appearances with two stolen bases, three runs, and one double. Amabile has been hot for a while, having posted at least one stolen base the last 12 times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Jackson Kardon, who went 2-for-3 with three stolen bases and one run.

Meanwhile, Saul was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against John Bartram, falling 15-6.

Saul's loss dropped their record down to 2-5-1. As for Constitution, their win bumped their record up to 5-3.
