Soccer Recap: Arizona College Prep's Luck Takes a Turn for the Worse on Saturday

After flying high against Arcadia on Friday, Arizona College Prep came back down to earth. The Arizona College Prep Knights fell just short of the Desert Mountain Wolves by a score of 2-1 on Saturday. One thing that didn't help the Knights' chances was the red card they were dealt courtesy of Courtney Kec.

Arizona College Prep's goal came courtesy of Katie Stefanovski, who's now up to two this season.

With the defeat, Arizona College Prep broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 4-1. As for Desert Mountain, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-0-1.

Arizona College Prep will venture away from home to square off against Sunrise Mountain at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Desert Mountain, they are taking a road trip to take on Verrado at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Desert Mountain is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.6 goals per game this season.
