Basketball Recap: Clayton-Bradley Academy Takes Loss Despite Strong Efforts from Asher Wagner and Max Franklin + How To Watch

Clayton-Bradley Academy was the 49-48 winner over Apostolic Christian Academy when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Blazers took a hard 68-54 fall against the Flames on Thursday. The defeat leaves the Blazers still looking for their first win of the season.

Despite the loss, Clayton-Bradley Academy had strong showings from Max Franklin, who went 5-for-9 on his way to 17 points, and Asher Wagner, who shot 50% from the field to rack up 14 points. Franklin continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Grey Andresen was another key player, putting up six points.

Clayton-Bradley Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Apostolic Christian Academy, the win got them back to even at 2-2.

Clayton-Bradley Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, an 80-31 victory against Paideia Academy on the 12th. As for Apostolic Christian Academy, they will be home for the holidays to greet Grace Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Flames will be up against the Rams' rather soft defense (which has allowed 55.44 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
