Softball Recap: Lewiston Golden Bengals vs. Sandpoint Bulldogs
Lewiston came into their game on Friday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 19-8 to the Sandpoint Bulldogs. Unfortunately, that's the fifth time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, with their most recent loss being a 4-3 defeat two weeks ago.
Corrina Scoville and Morgan Thayer did some serious damage despite the final result: Scoville went 1-for-4 with one home run and two runs, while Thayer got on base in all four of her plate appearances with one run, one double, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Adison Johnson, who went 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI.
