Recap: Waxahachie Indians vs. Clear Springs Chargers

The Waxahachie Indians's game on Friday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They managed a 65-61 victory over Clear Springs. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.

King Grace was his usual excellent self, scoring 25 points. The game was Grace's seventh in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Isayah Pankey, who scored two points along with nine assists and eight rebounds.

The victory got Waxahachie back to even at 5-5. As for Clear Springs, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-6.

Waxahachie won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Cy-Fair at 10:00 a.m. on December 9th. Cy-Fair has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 189 points over their last three games. As for Clear Springs, they will be playing at home against Iowa Colony at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Iowa Colony is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses.
