Basketball Recap: New Underwood Extends Winning Streak to Three

New Underwood entered their tilt with Crazy Horse on Friday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They came out on top against the Crazy Horse Chiefs by a score of 69-57. That's more bragging rights for the Tigers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

New Underwood's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Zeke Enos led the charge by dropping a double-double on 18 points and 11 boards. Those 11 rebounds gave Enos a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Zach Henriksen, who went 8 of 10 to rack up 19 points.

New Underwood's win bumped their record up to 9-6. As for Crazy Horse, their defeat was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 9-8.

Looking ahead, New Underwood is taking a road trip to take on Kadoka at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Kadoka is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 60.4 points per game this season. As for Crazy Horse, they will host Crow Creek at 2:00 p.m. on Friday.
