It was a good run, but Tishomingo County unfortunately witnessed the end of their six-game winning streak on Friday. They took a 74-65 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Ripley Tigers. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Friday (58), the Braves still had to take the loss.

Tishomingo County's loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 8-2. As for Ripley, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-2.

Tishomingo County will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Wheeler at 8:30 a.m. on December 27th. As for Ripley, they will head out on the road to face off against Shannon at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Ripley's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four contests.
