Baseball Recap: Porter Comes Up Short

Porter was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat dating back to last season. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 5-4 heartbreaker at the hands of the La Porte Bulldogs.

Porter's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for La Porte, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Porter wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, an 8-6 victory against Deer Park on the 20th. As for La Porte, they will take on Sotomayor at 12:30 p.m. on Thursday.
