Baseball Recap: Utah Military Academy - Camp Williams' Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Utah Military Academy - Hill Field, Utah Military Academy - Camp Williams was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 12-6 margin over the Merit Preparatory Academy Knights. The victory was some much needed relief for the Marauders as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

William Hunt made a big impact no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out ten batters over 3.1 innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off two hits. He has become a key player for Utah Military Academy - Camp Williams: the team is 2-1 when he allows at most two hits, but 2-11 otherwise. Hunt was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one run.

Utah Military Academy - Camp Williams' win bumped their record up to 4-12. As for Merit Preparatory Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-14.
