League recap: Hyde throws longest pass in league this season for Strawberry Crest

Tristan Hyde and Clay Cullins provided fans with a highlight when they connected against Bloomingdale. The connection went for 66 yards, the longest such play in 7A District 8 this season.

Brandon scaled the state rankings by moving to 330 from 363 this week, the biggest jump in the league. The Eagles were able to make move up by topping Blake 18-6.

Strawberry Crest's dynamic duo of Hyde and Cullins proved to be unstoppable against the Bulls, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Hyde threw for 219 yards and 2 touchdowns and Cullins had 81 yards receiving. Josh Hyde helped Strawberry Crest's passing attack out by catching 3 balls for 37 yards.

The Chargers' dynamic duo of Hyde and Cullins proved tough for Bloomingdale to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week.

Hyde put up the best numbers through the air as Strawberry Crest lost to John Booth's team.

Brandon Jones was the most successful running back in the league this week. He ran for 100 yards on 15 carries as Brandon lost to the Bulls. Teammate Jonathan Jones added to the ground attack by rushing for 61 yards.

Cullins was the best receiver in 7A District 8 this week as the Chargers fell to Bloomingdale.

Strawberry Crest's Hyde and Cullins have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Hyde has thrown for 219 yards this season, while Cullins, a 5-foot-11 receiver, has 3 catches for 81 yards. Dean Eychner's team's Jones leads the league in rushing yards with 100.

Durant fell to Armwood 20-0 last week, the largest margin of any game.
