Baseball Recap: Bethany Bronchos vs. Tuttle Tigers        
        
		
            
 It was a good run, but  Bethany unfortunately witnessed the end of their  seven-game winning streak on Thursday. They fell  4-1 to the Tuttle Tigers. Bethany was red-hot at the plate headed into the  game (they scored no less than ten  runs in the three  matches prior) but Tuttle's pitchers proved too tough.
  Gavin Finley was a  force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he  didn't allow a single  earned run while striking out seven over six innings pitched.
 At the plate, Bethany saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Josh Pierce, who  went 2-for-3 with a  double.
 Bethany's defeat  ended  a  three-game streak of wins at home  and  dropped them to 12-7-1. As for Tuttle, they have  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won 15 of their last 16 contests,  which provided a nice bump to their 22-2 record  this season.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bethany will take on Bishop McGuinness at 5:00  p.m.  on Friday. Bishop McGuinness is strutting in with some hitting muscle, as they've averaged 6.8  runs per game this season. As for Tuttle, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Classen SAS at 5:00  p.m.  on Monday. Tuttle will be looking to keep their 26-game home win streak  dating back to last season alive.
