Softball Preview: Mineral Ridge Rams vs. McKinley Trojans
Mineral Ridge is 8-0 against McKinley since May of 2016, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. Mineral Ridge owes their pitching crew a big pat on the back after their performance on Wednesday. They were the clear victor by an 8-0 margin over Lowellville. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Mineral Ridge.
Savannah Turek was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She struck out six batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and not a single walk). Turek was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-1 with two stolen bases, a double, and an RBI.
