            The Teaneck Highwaymen will venture away from home to  take on the Paramus Spartans  at 6:00  p.m.  on Friday. Teaneck has given up an average of 26.3  points per game this season, but Friday's  game will give them a chance to turn things around.
Teaneck is headed into the  matchup out to prove that what happened against River Dell  on Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. The Highwaymen had to suffer through  a    45-17 loss at the hands of the Golden Hawks. The Highwaymen haven't had much luck with the Golden Hawks recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.
Meanwhile, Paramus ended up a good deal behind Dumont on Friday and lost  28-14.
 Teaneck will have to contain  Jakob Hosie as he made an impact in Paramus' last game. He threw for 248 yards and one  TD while completing 72.7% of his passes, and also rushed for 36 yards. 102 of  Hosie's passing yards were hauled in by Theo Perides.
 Paramus' defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Teaneck, their loss dropped their record down to 2-4.
 Everything came up roses for Teaneck against Paramus when the teams last played  back in October of 2024, as the  squad secured  a  35-7 win. In that  game, the Highwaymen amassed a halftime lead of  21-0, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat  on Friday.
