Basketball Recap: Mapleton Comes Up Short

Mapleton has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They fell 66-54 to the Western Reserve Roughriders on Saturday. The Mounties were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Roughriders earlier this season, when they won 48-31.

Mapleton's loss dropped their record down to 9-4. As for Western Reserve, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-8.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mapleton has already played their next contest (against Plymouth), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Western Reserve has also has no score uploaded for their next game, this one against New London.
