Baseball Recap: East Davidson Comes Up Short

Monday just wasn't the day for East Davidson's offense. They lost 11-0 to the Forsyth Home Educators Hawks on Monday. Having soared to a lofty 18 runs in the game before, the Golden Eagles' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

East Davidson moved to 3-5 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 13 runs. As for Forsyth Home Educators, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-3.

Looking ahead, East Davidson will head out on the road to square off against Southwestern Randolph at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Forsyth Home Educators, they will host Ambassador Christian School at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Forsyth Home Educators' pitching crew has only allowed 2.6 runs per game this season, so Ambassador Christian School's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
