Bradley-Bourbonnais and Stagg are an even 5-5 against one another since May of 2018, but likely not for long. The Boilermakers will take on the Chargers at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Bradley-Bourbonnais is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.4 runs per game this season.

On Thursday, Bradley-Bourbonnais came up short against Bishop McNamara and fell 6-3. The Boilermakers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Ty Alderson was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Meanwhile, Stagg also suffered a loss in their last game, falling to Lincoln-Way East by a score of 7-4. The Chargers have struggled against the Griffins recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost meeting.

Stagg's defeat dropped their record down to 4-21. As for Bradley-Bourbonnais, their loss dropped their record down to 16-11.

Bradley-Bourbonnais couldn't quite get it done against Stagg in their previous meeting back in April of 2024 as they fell 4-1. Can the Boilermakers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
