Baseball Preview: Lawrenceburg Tigers vs. Rising Sun Shiners        
        
		
            
 Lawrenceburg is 7-0 against Rising Sun since April of 2015, and they'll have a chance to extend that success  on Wednesday. The Lawrenceburg Tigers will be playing in front of their home fans against the Rising Sun Shiners at 5:30  p.m. Lawrenceburg will be looking to keep their three-game home win streak  alive.
 On Monday, Lawrenceburg came out on top against South Dearborn by a score of  5-3 (the very same score they lost by in their prior game).
  Brody Price spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned  (and two unearned) runs on seven hits and racked up nine Ks.
 At the plate,  Nolan McLane was  incredible,  going 2-for-3 with a  home run, two  runs,  and two  RBI. Another player making a difference was  Caden Baker, who  scored two  runs and  stole a base while going 3-for-3.
 Meanwhile, sadly, Rising Sun is still looking for their first win of the season after four  games. Their  rough  13-3 loss to Southwestern  on Monday might stick with them for a while.
 Lawrenceburg's victory bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Rising Sun, they have  fallen quite a ways from their 17-7-1 record last season and are now  at 0-4.
 Lawrenceburg came out on top in a nail-biter against Rising Sun  in their previous matchup  back in March of 2022, sneaking past  4-3. Does  Lawrenceburg have another victory up their sleeve, or will Rising Sun turn the tables on them?  We'll have the answer soon enough.
