Basketball Game Preview: Gibraltar Vikings vs. Kewaunee Storm

Gibraltar is 0-10 against Kewaunee since February of 2020 but things could change on Tuesday. The Gibraltar Vikings will head out on the road to challenge the Kewaunee Storm at 7:00 p.m. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Having struggled with five losses in a row, Gibraltar turned things around against Florence on Saturday. They snuck past the Bobcats with a 49-45 win.

Meanwhile, everything went Kewaunee's way against Algoma on Friday as Kewaunee made off with a 64-44 victory. The Storm have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven contests by 20 points or more this season.

Kewaunee has also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season. As for Gibraltar, their win ended an 11-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-10.

Gibraltar was taken down by Kewaunee 81-39 in their previous meeting back in December of 2024. Can Gibraltar avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
