Volleyball Recap: Arapahoe Takes Loss Despite Strong Performances from Cecelie Franklin and Addie Loughner

Arapahoe suffered their biggest defeat since September 16th on Saturday. They lost 3-0 to the Monarch Coyotes. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Despite the loss, Arapahoe had strong showings from Addie Loughner, who had 25 assists and six digs, and Cecelie Franklin, who had 12 digs and one assist. Loughner has been hot for a while, having posted 21 or more assists the last ten times she's played.

Arapahoe's defeat dropped their record down to 10-10. As for Monarch, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 13-4.

Arapahoe wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Cherokee Trail on the 21st. As for Monarch, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Niwot on the 14th.
