Volleyball Game Preview: The Gregory School Hawks vs. Mountain View Mountain Lions

The Gregory School Hawks will take on the Mountain View Mountain Lions in a tournament on Friday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

The Gregory School took a loss when they played away from home two weeks ago, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed two weeks ago. They came out on top against St. Augustine Catholic by a score of 3-1.

Meanwhile, Mountain View can bid farewell to their five-game losing streak thanks to their game on Tuesday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over Buena.

Mountain View was especially dominant in the fourth set. The final score came out to 26-24, 25-22, 23-25, 25-15.

The Gregory School now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Mountain View, their win was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 3-7.

The Gregory School might still be hurting after the 3-0 defeat they got from Mountain View in their previous meeting back in March of 2022. Can The Gregory School avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
