Softball Recap: Brandon Comes Up Short

Brandon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Morgan Mustangs, falling 16-1.

Brandon's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Morgan, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-7.

Looking ahead, Brandon will head out to face off against Jefferson at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Morgan, they will welcome Riverview at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Sharks' pitching crew has only allowed 3.5 runs per game this season, so the Mustangs' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
