Volleyball Recap: Dayton Takes a Loss

Dayton lost against Bridge City last Thursday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Broncos fell 2-0 to the Cardinals.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Bridge City to victory, but perhaps none more so than Presley Ducote, who had 12 digs and three aces. Those 12 digs gave Ducote a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaylee Britten, who had 16 digs and three assists.

Dayton's loss dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Bridge City, their record now sits at 11-2.

Dayton has already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Pantego Christian on the 21st. As for Bridge City, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Hudson on the 21st.
