Softball Recap: North Central Takes a Loss

North Central and Lawrence North squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but North Central had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Wildcats by a score of 18-17. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Tuesday (15), the Panthers still had to take the loss.

North Central got a massive performance out of Jade Hosler, who went 4-for-6 with four RBI, two runs, and one triple. That triple was Hosler's first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaia Pantos, who went 4-for-5 with four runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.

North Central has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost eight of their last ten contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-14-1 record this season. As for Lawrence North, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 13-15.

As of now, neither North Central nor the Wildcats have any future games scheduled.
