Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Waverly Central). They blew past the Geneva Knights 15-7 on Monday. The victory was some much needed relief for the Tigers as it spelled an end to their five-game losing streak.

Waverly Central's win bumped their record up to 3-5. As for Geneva, the defeat snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 5-2 record.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Waverly Central will take on Osceola at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Geneva, they will square off against Poinciana at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Geneva will need to watch out since Poinciana has now posted at least ten runs in their last three matchups.
