Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Royal). They came out on top against the Fort Bend Willowridge Eagles by a score of 69-56 on Friday.

When it comes to explaining why Fort Bend Willowridge lost, don't look at Ernest Hampton. Despite the final result, he went 6 for 10 on his way to 15 points and four steals. Hampton is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed four or more in the last four games he's played. Allyn Milburn was another key player, putting up nine points along with five rebounds and three steals.

Royal's win bumped their record up to 8-15. As for Fort Bend Willowridge, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-14 record this season.

Royal is facing Harmony School of Innovation at the right time seeing as Harmony School of Innovation is stuck on a seven-game losing streak. As for Fort Bend Willowridge, they will square off against Stafford at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Stafford will roll in looking for their 26th straight victory, something Fort Bend Willowridge surely won't give up without a fight.
