Gretna pushed their record up to 13-0 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home. As for Appomattox County, they moved to 12-4 with that defeat, which also ended their six-game winning streak.
Gretna will venture away from home to take on Dan River at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Appomattox County, they will take on Altavista at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Altavista will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Appomattox County surely won't give up without a fight.
