Basketball Recap: Cohoes Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Cohoes can now relate to. They took a blow against Hudson Falls on Sunday, falling 76-49. While losing is never fun, Cohoes can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 590th, while Hudson Falls is ranked 134th).

Cohoes has also traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last eight games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-16 record this season. That patch can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.3 points over those games. The win (which was Hudson Falls' sixth in a row) raised their record to 17-4.

As of now, neither Cohoes nor Hudson Falls have any future games scheduled.
