Softball Game Preview: Golden Valley Grizzlies vs. Hart Hawks

Golden Valley is 1-9 against Hart since March of 2021 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Grizzlies will face off against the Hawks at 3:15 p.m. Golden Valley has given up an average of 12.8 runs per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Golden Valley fell victim to Sierra Canyon and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They came up short against the Trailblazers, falling 26-0. The Grizzlies' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it six in a row.

Meanwhile, Hart came into Monday's contest having lost four straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They came out on top against Canyon by a score of 6-2 on Monday.

The team relied heavily on Sadie Curtis, who went 2-for-4 with one home run and two RBI.

Hart was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .407. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Canyon only posted a batting average of .250.

Hart picked up their first home victory, bumping their record up to 6-13. As for Golden Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 4-13.

Golden Valley might still be hurting after the 15-3 defeat they got from Hart in their previous meeting back in March. Can the Grizzlies avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
