Basketball Recap: Douglas Byrd Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Douglas Byrd was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 17th straight loss dating back to last season. They had to suffer through a 54-8 loss at the hands of the Gray's Creek Bears. The Eagles lost against the Bears in their previous head to head back in January, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 43-37 score last time.

Douglas Byrd's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Gray's Creek, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 4-3.

Coming up, Douglas Byrd will head out to take on Cape Fear at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Gray's Creek, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Jack Britt at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
