Volleyball Game Preview: Seventy-First Falcons vs. South View Tigers

The Seventy-First Falcons will venture away from home to take on the South View Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Wednesday, Seventy-First got the win against E.E. Smith by a conclusive 3-0.

One reason for the win was Seventy-First's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-13, 25-12.

Meanwhile, South View came tearing into Thursday's contest with eight straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Falcons by a score of 3-1.

South View was especially dominant in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 15-25, 25-22, 25-19.

Seventy-First better keep an eye on Giselle Colvin. She was instrumental in South View's win, getting 13 digs and one assist. That's the most digs Colvin has posted since back in September.

Seventy-First's victory bumped their record up to 8-9. As for South View, their win bumped their record up to 11-6.

Seventy-First came up short against South View in their previous matchup on Thursday, falling 3-1. Can the Falcons avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
