Basketball Recap: West Memphis Skates Past Paragould with Ease

West Memphis won the last time they faced Paragould and things went their way on Friday too. The West Memphis Blue Devils simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Paragould Rams 55-26. The Blue Devils have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six matches by 22 points or more this season.

The victory made it two in a row for West Memphis and bumps their season record up to 12-4. As for Paragould, they are on a 29-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-14.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. West Memphis will venture away from home to take on Marion at 6:00 p.m. on February 7th. West Memphis knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past three contests -- so hopefully Marion likes a good challenge. As for Paragould, they will head out on the road to challenge Greene County Tech at 6:00 p.m. on February 7th. Greene County Tech will roll in looking for their 15th straight win, something Paragould surely won't give up without a fight.
