Baseball Game Preview: Center Roughriders vs. Palestine Wildcats

The Center Roughriders are taking a road trip to challenge the Palestine Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Center is coming into the match on a five-game losing streak.

Center fell victim to Bullard and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They fell just short of the Panthers by a score of 2-0.

Center saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cody Adkinson, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Meanwhile, Palestine hadn't done well against Rusk recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. Palestine won by a run and slipped past Rusk 1-0.

Palestine has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-5-1 record this season. Center's defeat dropped their record down to 5-10.

Center took their victory against Palestine when the teams last played back in April of 2022 by a conclusive 9-2. Does Center have another victory up their sleeve, or will Palestine turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
