Colby had already won eight in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 23.1 points) and they went ahead and made it nine on Thursday. They blew past the Russell Broncos 50-25. The Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 12 matches by 20 points or more this season.

Despite the loss, Russell still got an impressive performance from Kelvie Reeves, who posted nine points and three steals. Reeves is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in each of the last 25 games she's played dating back to last season.

Colby's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 20-2. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 28.8 points on average over those games. As for Russell, with the loss, they broke their eight-game winning streak and moved their record to 12-10.
