It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Acalanes had no problem doing just that on Wednesday. They were the clear victor by a 78-52 margin over the Cardinal Newman Cardinals. The Dons have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 23 matchups by 21 points or more this season.

The win (which was Acalanes' 16th in a row) raised their record to 28-1. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 43.7 points. As for Cardinal Newman, the loss snapped their winning streak at 18 games and leaves them with a 25-4 record.

Coming up, Acalanes will face off against San Ramon Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. One thing working in Acalanes' favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season. Cardinal Newman does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
