Volleyball Recap: High Point Starts off Right with Win over Parsippany

High Point gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Tuesday. They won by a set and slipped past the Parsippany Redhawks 2-1. For the Wildcats, this counts as revenge for the 2-1 win the Redhawks walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2024.

If you add up the scores from across all three sets (70-69) High Point actually scored fewer points, but in the end it didn't matter. The final score came out to 31-29, 13-25, 25-16.

Looking ahead, High Point will take on Morris Catholic at 4:00 p.m. on September 4. As for Parsippany, they will venture away from home to challenge West Orange at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
