Basketball Game Preview: Providence Classical Paladins vs. Arborbrook Christian Academy Falcons

The Providence Classical Paladins will take on the Arborbrook Christian Academy Falcons at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Providence Classical will head out to face Arborbrook Christian Academy after giving up their first home loss of the season on Tuesday. Providence Classical lost 76-54 to Socrates Academy. The Paladins have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Despite the defeat, Providence Classical had strong showings from Grafton Eiff, who went 8 of 11 on his way to 26 points along with eight assists and three steals, and Malachi Thompson, who went 11 for 15 en route to 23 points in addition to five rebounds and three blocks. The contest was Thompson's third in a row with at least ten points.

Meanwhile, Arborbrook Christian Academy was beaten by Grace Academy 73-41 back in December of 2024. The Falcons haven't had much luck with the Lions recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.

Despite the loss, Arborbrook Christian Academy saw an underclassman step up: freshman Ezra Briles posted 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Evan Still, who had four points.

Providence Classical's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 4-7. As for Arborbrook Christian Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.
