Basketball Recap: Little River Academy Takes a Loss

Little River Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They were six points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 49-43 heartbreaker at the hands of the Cisco Loboes. The Bumblebees were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Loboes apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in December of 2022.

Little River Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Cisco, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Little River Academy will take on McGregor in a holiday battle at at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Cisco, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Hamilton at 2:40 p.m. on Saturday.
